California grown, I ended up in small town USA - Janesville, MN! I went to The University of Michigan and graduated with a BS in Architecture. Somehow through numerous all-nighters, critiques, endless cans of Monster , and an insane amount of X-Acto knife blades, I somehow met my extraordinary husband Tim. He was lucky enough to experience my 2 years of intense studies and now we managed to make our way back to his hometown of Janesville!
Through my love of baking, art, and architecture, I stumbled upon an amazing bakery in Michigan - Decadent Delight. I learned the trick of the trade from my amazing mentor and old boss Bryant Stuckey. His list of achievements and talents are endless and I can't thank him enough for all he has taught me!
Through my two years as an assistant pastry chef, my life long love of baking with my mother, and my insane interest in lines, angles, sculpture and more, I somehow find myself baking on my own! I can make practically anything, any shape, any color you can think of (as long as gravity allows for it!). I love a challenge and am always open to trying new recipes or products. Everything I make is edible including all figurines and details and I try to use as many all natural and local ingredients as I can! I will start to post recent cakes and will continue to upload bits and pieces of the work I've done throughout my cake, art, and architecture adventures! ENJOY!
